WILL SERGEANT - Themes for 'GRIND'

LP Happy Customers 1982
CD reissue Spiffing 1997 with bonus track

"Will Sergeant is best known as the guitarist for Echo and the Bunnymen, but fans of that group shouldn't go looking for this LP expecting a familiar-sounding spinoff. Themes for GRIND has no vocals and none of Echo and the Bunnymen's trademark hooks. This album will probably appeal to anyone who enjoys dark, atmospheric ambient music. It's experimental, but not in an annoying or pretentious way, and evokes a gray-sky world of abandoned factories and empty streets. Highly recommended".

It's funny, I had to read the description from Discogs.com twice before I realized I was the one who wrote it. I posted that review years ago. Funny how things on the internet come back to haunt you.

Thanks so much for uploading this! I own this record on vinyl but wanted an mp3 copy. You've made my day!
